Booksie is committed to nurturing lifelong confident readers and writers.

Our literacy programme is home to book clubs and reading camps where we read and discuss exciting African books and teach new and beginning readers how to read using Jolly Phonics. We also have Baby & Toddler Storytime for younger readers.

Book club

We run book clubs through which we teach beginning and struggling readers how to read using a combination of Jolly Phonics and our thoughtfully designed reading for pleasure curriculum.

You can join the Saturday Book Club or sign up for individual after school lessons.

Almost every Saturday: 10am - 2pm (Dates in calendar below)

Monday - Friday: Anytime between 9am - 5pm (create your own schedule)

Holiday Reading Camp

Booksie’s Holiday Reading Camp brings together the best of all our activities. We read, write, play and ultimately have fun in a reading focused environment. We have 3 camps a year.

Monday - Friday (Dates in calendar below)

Time: 9am - 3pm

**Early drop off from 8:30am and late pick up until 5pm
