Shipping policy
All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
Pick up at Booksie
You can skip the shipping fees with free pickup at the Booksie Literacy Centre in North Ridge, Accra. After placing your order and selecting Pick up at Booksie at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 3 business days. We will send you an email, text or message on Whatsapp when your order is ready along with instructions.
Our in-store pickup hours are 9am - 5pm, Tuesday to Friday. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
Deliveries in and around Accra, Ghana
- Deliveries in Accra are made on Tuesdays and Fridays. Orders that come in after 12pm on Tuesdays and Fridays will be delivered on the next delivery day
- Express delivery (same day or next day) is available at a fee but depends on if the books ordered are in storage. Please call or Whatsapp +233 24 131 6433 to discuss
Deliveries in Ghana but outside Accra
Deliveries in Ghana but outside Accra will be done within 2-4 business days after you receive your order confirmation email. This excludes weekends and holidays.
International Shipping
We offer international shipping worldwide through DHL. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Delivery will take 7 to 10 business days but in rare cases may more than 10 days.
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Booksie is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email or SMS notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 7 business days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at hello@mybooksiebox.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Shipping to P.O. Boxes
We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, even in Ghana
Refunds, returns and exchanges
We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return, refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Click here for the full return policy.
We accept returns up to 7 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at hello@mybooksiebox.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
