When Akroma’s great-grandmother dies she dreads the changes and surprises that come after. Hot, humid Accra is nothing like the greenery of Adukrom. Akroma then becomes friends with Jojo, a shy boy whose parents have lost their land to galamsey. Their common interest? Art. The two learn to create awareness through their art to save the places they call home. Akroma’s story, set against the backdrop of change and challenges, intertwines with several SDGs, reflecting themes of environmental conservation, community, and awareness.
