Line Tracing: Pre-writing Activity Book

Writing is a communication skill that is extremely useful in life, even in this age of technology. Children must, therefore, master this skill at a very early stage in life, as many other aspects of child development may depend on it.

Pre-writing is simply learning the skills necessary to begin writing.

It involves learning to hold and grip the pencil in the correct way and also to manoeuvre along a path on a writing surface. This fine motor skill does not come easily to children. Therefore it is important to practise over and again until the child is comfortable to begin writing numbers and letters.
